• <br /> ociannation <br /> May 21 , 1999 <br /> Poppy <br /> D ay in Roseville <br /> Whereas: The American Legion Auxiliary, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the <br /> Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary have adopted the Poppy as their <br /> commemorative symbol; and <br /> Whereas: The memorial Poppy, assembled by disabled veterans, pays respectful tribute <br /> Eo those killed in war, and also benefits living veterans and their families; and <br /> Whereas: Public donations for Poppies fund rehabilitation programs within each local <br /> community that benefit veterans and their families; <br /> Now, Therefore Be It Resolved, that the City Council of the City of Roseville roes hereby <br /> proclaim May 21, 1999 to be poppy Day in the City of Roseville. <br /> In Witness Whereof, ! have hereunto set my hard and caused the Seal of the City of <br /> Roseville to be affixed this 26th day of April, 1999. <br /> Daniel G.
