REQUEST FOR CITY COUNCIL DISCUSSION <br /> DATE: 44/19/99 <br /> ITEM NO: <br /> Department Approval: Manager Approval: Agenda Section: <br /> Ite Description: CITY CENTER TASK FORCE PROGRESS <br /> Attached is the draft report from the City Center Task Force work to date. Changes <br /> may occur to this report after the April 15' meeting of the Task Force. Staff will <br /> provide updates at the meeting. <br /> The Task Force has been meeting since September 1998 and has nearly complete the <br /> first phase of the project. The first phase was to define a vision and recommend any <br /> changes necessary to the Comprehensive Phan or other Public Policy documents in <br /> order to complete the City Centex master plan. <br /> Chairman Keith Wietecki, Vice-Chair Lois Sinn Lindquist, Planning Commission <br /> Chair Craig Klausing and others will attend the Council Work Session on April 19' <br /> to provide the Council with a progress report and seek further direction before <br /> completion of the phase 1 tasks. <br /> Q:1Ci'fYCENT1Phase 1 Aeport(041999).doc <br /> 1 <br />
