City Council Y2K Update <br /> As you are aware, the City Staff has been active in the Y K review process for the past several <br /> years. we have upgraded software and equipment as we have gone through the annual capital <br /> improvement and equipment process. <br /> Most recently, the LM IT has further extended some limited insurance coverage to cities for <br /> problems that tray occur. That coverage is contingent on the City doing a due-diligence of its <br /> operations and providing the necessary documentation. <br /> The Departments have been very active during the past several months in compiling the <br /> documentation and completing the curing of any final deficiencies. while we have not yet <br /> completed all of the final implementation and testing, we have resolved and documented a major <br /> portion of compliance requirements. <br /> At the February 16, 1999 work Session, we will provide an update as well as information to the <br /> City Council about the City's Y2K program including hack-up contingency plans. <br />
