EXTRACT OF MINUTES <br /> OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> OF THE CITY OF lOEVILLE <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br /> Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota,was duly held on the 25th day of January, 1 999, at 630 <br /> P.M. <br /> The following members were present: Wiski, Goedeke, I Mastel, Maschka, wall <br /> and the following were absent: None <br /> Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> Resolution No. 9 <br /> Resolution Granting A Lot Coverage variance At <br /> 1240 Belair Circle <br /> VMEREAS, Section 101 6.26 of the Roseville City Code requires a maximum impervious <br /> lot coverage of 25% in the shoreland management district of Labe Josephine; and <br /> WHEREAS,wF Bauer Homes (owner and builder)has requested a variance to increase the <br /> impervious lot coverage to 35% for the purpose of regrading the parcel and constructing a single <br /> family home on the following described property: <br /> Lot 7 Block I Belair Heights No. 2; and <br /> VMEREAS,the Roseville Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on the request <br /> on Wednesday, January 13, 1999, and recommended approval of the requested variance; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council received the Planning Commission's <br /> recommendation on Monday, January 25, 1999; and <br /> VvTEREA , the Roseville City Council made the following findings: <br /> . Since 1996, Section 10 16.26 of the City Code has required a maximum impervious <br /> surface coverage of 25% of a site in the shoreland management district of Lake <br /> Josephine unless storm water is conveyed to an on-site or regional ponding facility. <br /> Storm sower is located in Belair Circle and the parcel is a non-riparian parcel with <br /> indirect drainage to Labe Josephine through a series of retention ponds. <br /> 2. The steep road-side topography of the parcel creates a physical hardship for the <br /> applicant, as it requires regrading of the site and an extended driveway to reduce the <br /> slope of the driveway on the site. The irregularity of the lot, 124 feet on the west side <br /> and 137 feet on the east side adds to the physical hardship. <br /> resolution% -Page 1 of 2 <br />
