REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br /> DA T&& 1/25/99 <br /> ITEM 'O■* -� <br /> Department Approval: Manager Reviewed: Agenda Section: <br /> Consent <br /> Item Descri IP <br /> ti on: Receiving feasibility reports/scheduling public improvement hearings <br /> 1999 Pavement Management Program(PMP) <br /> Background: On September 14J. 1998,the City Council selected neighborhoods for the 1999 <br /> PMP and ordered the preparation of feasibility reports for these neigbborhoo ds■ The <br /> neighborhoods selected are as follows: <br /> P-99-02 Neighborhood 19 Woodlynn Avenue, S.Owasso Boulevard to Farrington Ct. <br /> Farrington Ct.cul-de-sac <br /> Neighbcncc od.22 Woodbridge Street, South Owasso Blvd,to Woodlynn.Avenue <br /> woodlynn Avenue,lice Street to cul-de-sac <br /> Neighborhood 23 Maple Lane Ct,Western Avenue to -de--sae <br /> Woodbridge Street Maple Lane to S.Owasso Boulevard <br /> Woodbridge Street,County Road C to County Road <br /> Marion Street,County Road C to County Road <br /> Oaltier Street,County Road C to Iona Lane <br /> Matilda Street,County road C.to Iona Lane <br /> Iona Lane,Galtier Street to Woodbridge Street <br /> Informational meetings have been held with each Neighborhood(Neighborhood 19,29 23.) At <br /> these meetings,staff viewed the overall PMP,the City's assessment policy,and an overvi <br /> ff ew <br /> of typical street reconstruction. Residents provided input to staff regarding specific <br /> neighborhood concerns. <br /> In accordance with City Council direction,a feasibility report has been prepared that details <br /> the proposed design,neighborhood impact,and estimated cost of the proposed 1999 PIMP. <br /> Copies of the completed feasibility reports are enclosed. The next step in the process is for the <br /> council to accept tie feasibility report and to schedule public hearings. <br /> Policy objectives: The various recommended street improvement projects are being <br /> considered as part of the City"s 1999 PIMP. The projects are consistent with the policies <br /> originally established for the IMP summarized as follows: <br />
