Date : 11/13/01 <br /> Item: B-1 <br /> City Council Minutes <br /> Regular Meeting of October 22, 2001 <br /> The City Council met on the above date with the following members present 6:31p.m. <br /> (voting order): Klausing, Maschka, Goedeke, and Kysylyczyn. Absent: Mastel, Roll Call <br /> A. Communications and Public Comment <br /> A-1 Kysylyczyn noted there would be a continuance of the public <br /> hearing on Agenda Item H-1 involving the Roseville Mobile Home <br /> Park, pursuant to the request of the Applicant. <br /> A-2 Chuck Nagel, 2599 Lexington Avenue, related a story about a <br /> friend's traffic ticket in Roseville. He seeks statistics about seat belt <br /> tickets written by the Roseville Police Department, and questions <br /> our priorities. Beets indicated he would report back to the Council at <br /> the next Council Meeting on November 13. <br /> A-3 Kris Kringle, owner of the commercially zoned property at 1887 <br /> Rice Street, spoke about a Code Compliance letter he received. He <br /> seeks clarification of, or relief from, a duty to clean snow off the <br /> sidewalk in front of his property. Welsch noted that Section 407.03 <br /> of the City Code requires all commercial property owners to clear <br /> the sidewalk in front of their property. <br /> A-4 Fire Chief Richard Gasaway reported on a significant 2-alarm fire in <br /> Little Canada yesterday, Sunday, October 21. The Roseville Fire <br /> Department responded on a mutual aid basis. <br /> A-5 John Ericson, 1233 Larpenteur Avenue, asked who would shovel <br /> snow from the sidewalk in front of his commercial property. Bloom <br /> explained that, due to the mid-block Ramsey County Parcel, and the <br /> fact that the City plows trails on Fernwood and Hamline, the stretch <br /> of Larpenteur sidewalk in front of Mr. Ericson's property will be <br /> plowed by the City of Roseville. <br /> A-6 Scott Brannon, 15 13 Larpenteur Avenue, also asked who would <br /> shovel snow from the sidewalk in front of his commercial property. <br /> Bloom explained that, due to the mid-block Ramsey County Parcel, <br /> and the fact that the City plows trails on Fernwood and Hamline,the <br /> stretch of Larpenteur sidewalk in front of Mr. Brannon's property <br /> will be plowed by the City of Roseville <br />
