<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />OF CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />June 24, 1985 <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of <br /> <br />the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly <br />held in the City Hall in said City on Monday, June 24, 1985, at <br /> <br />7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Demos and <br /> <br />Councilmembers Curley, Kehr and Johnson; and the following was <br /> <br />absent: Councilmember Franke. <br /> <br />Councilmember Curley introduced the following resolution and <br /> <br />moved its adoption: <br /> <br />Resolution No. 7759 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION <br />OF IMPROVEMENT NO. Ss-w-p-85-7 <br />AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND <br />SPECIFICATIONS THEREFOR UNDER AND PURSUANT <br />TO MINNESOTA STATUTES, CHAPTER 429 <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, that in accordance with the provisions of Minnesota <br />Statutes, Chapter 429, as amended, the Council held a public <br />hearing on the proposed construction of Improvement No. <br />ss-W-P-85-1 consisting of the installation of bituminous paving, <br />concrete curb and gutter, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, watermain <br />and necessary appurtenances on all that property abutting Rose <br />Place from Fernwood Street to Dunlap Street and on Fernwood Place <br />to approximately 300 feet north, as described in the Notice of <br />Hearing at a cost presently estimated at $183,695.00, and <br />substantially in accordance with the preliminary report as to the <br />feasability thereof which is now on file in the office of the <br />City Manager; and having considered the views of all interested <br />persons and being fully advised in the premises, the Council does <br />hereby determine and order that said improvement shall be <br />constructed and financed, and special assessments shall be levied <br />therefor, pursuant to said Chapter 429, and that the area pro- <br />posed to be assessed therefor shall include the property as <br />described in the Notice of Hearing.
