5. The tree is considered to have high hazard potential when decay is
associated with a weak branch union. The tree shows signs of decay
where the branches have failed.
6. This particular tree has Wce demonstrated the potential for failure.
7, This tree remains defective because the wound from the broken
branches is jagged. This allows water to settle in the crevices, causing
rat and further decay.
B. The tree currently consists of two very large branches that fork, or have
a V-shaped union.
9. This tree is greater than 15" °in diameter (best guess 30-40").
10.This tree has a target. The next time a branch fails and falls it will land
on either Gary F uud's home or his neighbor, Gary Moores home.
It is my conclusion, based on the above facets, that this tree is a hazard and
needs be removed as soon as possible.
Any questions, please let me know.
Lonnie Brooke, Assistant Park and Recreation Director
enclosures
2
