EXTRACT of MINUTES of MEETING of THE <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY of ROSEVILLE <br /> RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br /> of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 27th day of July, 1998, <br /> at 6:30 p.m. <br /> The following members were present: <br /> and the following members were absent: <br /> Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION No, XXXX <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION of A <br /> PURCHASE AGREEMENT FOR THE ACQUISITION of 2190 ST. CROIX STREET <br /> As PART of THE HOUSING REPLACEMENT PROGRAM WITHIN THE CITY of <br /> ROSEVILLE HOUSING IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Roseville adopted a housing replacement program within the <br /> Roseville Housing Improvement Program which includes the acquisition of undersized, <br /> outdated, or non-code compliant properties that could not be economically rehabilitated or <br /> sold on the open market, and <br /> WHEREAS, the purpose of the program is to replace deteriorating lover value <br /> housing on scattered sites throughout the City with larger, higher value housing designed <br /> for families, and <br /> WHEREAS, the goal of the program is to increase the property value of the home <br /> and improve the value and aesthetics of the neighborhood properties, and <br /> WHEREAS, the parcel [Parcel #08-29-23-34-00341 located at 2190 St. Croix Street <br /> is in p oor to fair condition, outdated and undersized with 972 square foot home on a 19,787 <br /> square foot lot, and <br /> WHEREAS, the executors of the parcel are voluntarily willing to sell the home, <br /> which is vacant, to the city of Roseville for$60,000. <br /> NOS THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the he City of Roseville City Council, <br /> acting within its authorization as the Housing and Redevelopment Authority for the City of <br /> Roseville does hereby approve and authorize the execution of a purchase agreement by <br /> the City Manager for the acquisition of 2190 St. Groin Street [Parcel I.D. ## 08-29-23-34- <br /> 00 4] for 60,000; and <br /> Resolution 9523- Page 1 of 2 <br />
