CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RD SEVILLE <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br /> Roseville,County of Ramsey,Minnesota,was duly called field at the City Hall on Monday,the 13th <br /> day of July, 1 998 at 6:30 P.M. <br /> The following members were present: and the <br /> following were absent: <br /> Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION O. <br /> RESOLUTION A HORIZING THE JOINT APPLICATION FOR THE LIVABLE <br /> COMM[IJNITIES DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM Fo THE NEIGHBORHOOD <br /> COMMONS PROJECT <br /> UREA a City the i of Roseville is a participant in the Livable Communities Act's Housing <br /> Incentives Program for 1998 as determined by the Metropolitan Council, and therefore eligible to <br /> male application for funds under the Livable Cotrununities Demonstration Account; and <br /> VMEREAS, the City has identified a proposed project within the City that meets the <br /> Demonstration Account's purpose/s and criteria; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City has the institutional, managerial and financial capability to ensure <br /> adequate project administration; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City certifies that it will comply with all applicable laws and regulations as <br /> stated in the contract agreements; and <br /> VMEIA , the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota agrees to act as a legal <br /> sponsor for the p roj ect contained in the Demonstration Account application submitted on July 22, <br /> 1998; <br /> NOW <br /> THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council(the"Council")of the City of <br /> Roseville, Minnesota (the " i " , Ramsey County, Minnesota, that the pity 11rlanager is hereby <br /> Rose <br /> authorized to apply to the Metropolitan Council for this funding on behalf of the City of Roseville <br /> and to execute such agreements as are necessary to implement the project on behalf of the apphcant. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br /> ouncilmember --and upon vote being taken thereon,the following voted <br /> and the <br /> in favor: <br /> following voted against the same* - • <br /> WBEREIJPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adapted. <br />
