Chris Hughes, 1779 Rose Place, asked about hours of operation. Mr. ogle <br /> advised: Monday - Friday 7: cam - 8:00 pm; Saturday 7: cam - 5: opm-Sunday <br /> 7 0am - 4:3o m. (Landform Engineering document differed with hours listed as <br /> Monday - Saturday 7:00am - :oopm; Sunday 8:00am - 6:00pm). Mr. Hughes <br /> asked ghat recourse was available if there was noncompliance with any of the <br /> sti p ulationsistandards (Kim Lee advised of legal actions available to City under <br /> Conditional Use Permit process). <br /> George Lindgren, 1728 o akcrest, asked 1) where the 1,000 tires would be <br /> stored (Coyle advised inside the building); ) why did we let them submit a plan <br /> which did not comply with City standards for exterior? ) concerned about <br /> problems on oakcrest with traffic turning. <br /> Al Sands 2612 Aldine, questioned the possible safety problems with ponding <br /> area next to ch i Id revs' play area in park. Jay Kennedy and Mr. Johnston <br /> discussed drains eidepth of ponding area and consideration of fencing of <br /> ponding area. <br /> John Owens 2555 No. Snelling, Financial Secretary for Knights of Columbus <br /> discussed their meetings with MnDOT and advised there was nothing in their <br /> plans now or in future for closing the median and advised further that the cross <br /> parking n g easement would be part of the sales contract. <br /> Lynn urged Capon that the whole area be considered at same time. <br /> p � <br /> h ristenson opposed the project; concerned about hours of operation, that <br /> Craig pp <br /> traffic problems will increase on Snelling and o akcest - and felt ponds should <br /> not be fenced. <br /> George Lindgren reviewed site's history and indicated original intention was to <br /> have seveal minor, small business establishments in this area. <br /> Chris � <br /> i s H u hies urged Commission to vote against proposal because of increase <br /> in noise increase in traffic, incompatability with neighborhood. <br /> Brad Th se 2558 Aldine St. asked that Commission consider the residents' <br /> interests - not interests of business only. <br /> Al Sands, 2612 Aldine St., opposed: 1) zoning wrong, ) traffic on oakcrest <br /> increased 0% storage pond should not be next to a parr. <br /> There being no further comments, Chair Harms closed the hearing. <br /> Member Rhody advised he would vote for this proposal. He would prefer to see <br /> the site developed all at once, but believes this fits well against Snelling Avenue <br /> 3 <br />
