I understand that the neighborhood would prefer Senior housing on these sites} as those uses would be more compatible with the neighborhood. We concur with that assessment for the folloring reasons 1. Senior housing typically adds a minimal traffic impact- 2. Senor hcusir4g would huller the neighborhood from commercial activity along Snelling Avenue. .3. Residents of the neighborhood may eventually move to this senior housing 4. Seniors typica y like to locate nit to grocery stores, residential neighborhoods, and public parks. I havespoken directly with Frank Rog, the owner of King's Court, and he indicated that he would,be interested in self his facility to us for a senior housing development. He wants to do something that would benefit the neighborhood, provided p t F that he is aid a Fair Market price for his property. l also spoke with B ob Modcr, the l broker for the Knights of Columbus property, and he indicated that they would be rested in seli�n the western portion of the property (adjacent to King s court) ante � , provided that the Knights of Columbus still has adequate parking for rt,s Bingo guests.
