EXTRACT of MINUTES OF MEETING OF IWE CITY COUNCIL of THE CITY OF RO E fLLE RAMSEY COUNTY1 MINNESOTA u Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 8th day of June, 1998, at 6:30 p.m. The following members were present: and the following members were absent: Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption- RESOLUTION NO. RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF TAX FORFEITED LAND IN THE CITY of ROSEVILLE WHEREAS, the City of Roseville had adopted a housing program which includes acquisition isition of undersized or unbuildable residential parcels for combination with adjoining parcels, and WHEREAS, the parcel Parcel I.D. 13-29-23-11-0027-11 located at the northeast corner of the intersection of Burke Avenue and William Street is a tax forfeited, undersized, non-buildable p arcel of 5,850 square feet (47x124.47), and WHEREAS, the state of Minnesota has received the tax forfeited parcel and the County o f Ramsey Tax Forfeiture Land Department offered it for sale to the City of Roseville for ,149.40. VIA THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the city of Rosevilie City Council, acting within its authoft ation as the Housing and Redevelopment Authority for the City of Roseville, do es hereby approve the purchase of the tax forfeit parcel (Parcel I.D. 1 - g-23- 11-0027-1] as offered by the County of Ramsey, and hereby directs the City Manager to purchase said id for residential uses from Ramsey County on behalf of the State of Minnesota. n for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by The mono p .
