EXTRACT of MINUTES OF MEETING OF IWE <br /> CITY COUNCIL of THE CITY OF RO E fLLE <br /> RAMSEY COUNTY1 MINNESOTA <br /> u <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br /> of Roseville County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 8th day of June, 1998, <br /> at 6:30 p.m. <br /> The following members were present: <br /> and the following members were absent: <br /> Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption- <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PURCHASE <br /> OF TAX FORFEITED LAND IN THE CITY of ROSEVILLE <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Roseville had adopted a housing program which includes <br /> acquisition isition of undersized or unbuildable residential parcels for combination with adjoining <br /> parcels, and <br /> WHEREAS, the parcel Parcel I.D. 13-29-23-11-0027-11 located at the northeast <br /> corner <br /> of the intersection of Burke Avenue and William Street is a tax forfeited, undersized, <br /> non-buildable p arcel of 5,850 square feet (47x124.47), and <br /> WHEREAS, the state of Minnesota has received the tax forfeited parcel and the <br /> County o f Ramsey Tax Forfeiture Land Department offered it for sale to the City of <br /> Roseville for ,149.40. <br /> VIA THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the city of Rosevilie City Council, <br /> acting within its <br /> authoft ation as the Housing and Redevelopment Authority for the City of <br /> Roseville, do es hereby approve the purchase of the tax forfeit parcel (Parcel I.D. 1 - g-23- <br /> 11-0027-1] as offered by the County of Ramsey, and hereby directs the City Manager to <br /> purchase said <br /> id for residential uses from Ramsey County on behalf of the State <br /> of Minnesota. <br /> n for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br /> The mono p . <br /> Council Member and upon Grote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br /> thereof: <br /> and the following voted against the same: <br /> WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br /> Resolution - Page 1 of 2 <br />
