A <br /> Depaqment Approval: Manager ADDrOved: AgendaSection: <br /> REPORTS <br /> lem Description: A request to approve the Arona site Request for Proposal <br /> (PF3243). <br /> 1.0 REQUESTED ACTION: <br /> 1.1 City staff requests Council input and approval of the attached draft Arona Site <br /> Request for Proposal (RFP). The RFP, if approved, will be mailed to <br /> development companies, architects, real estate firms, non-profit agencies and <br /> other interested individuals and companies. A draft list is attached for Council <br /> review and input. In addition, information will be placed in local papers, <br /> development periodicals and on the City web page regarding the availability of <br /> the RFP. <br /> 1.2 The goal of the RFP is to solicit private, public or nonprofit proposals for <br /> development of the 13-acre Arona site, based on the Arona-Hamline Master <br /> Plan and the Arona Site Concept Planned Unit Development proposal approved <br /> by the Council on March 25, 2002.
