Notices for the public hearing were <br /> published two times, two weeks apart in the Roseville Review. <br /> At the April 7'h Council Meeting the Public Hearing was set for 7:15 p.m. <br /> considering the establishing of Special Service District##'I. In addition, Council <br /> approved by motion, the introduction of the ordinance establishing the Special <br /> Service District and directed staff to bring the ordinance back to Council for <br /> consideration with any modifications. <br /> 4.0 Staff Recommendation <br /> 4.1 Special Service Districts are a new method of providing assistance to redevelop <br /> commercial areas. Staff believes that by establishing a Special Service District <br /> for Roseville Center the City, as well as the owner and their tenants, benefit with <br /> a modern, safe, accessible and appealing retail center. <br /> 4.2 Staff recommends that the Council adopt the ordinance establishing Special <br /> Service District#1 for the Roseville Shopping Center with two minor <br /> modifications.
