The sanitary sewer would <br /> be re-routed and the new easement accepted prior to vacation of the existing <br /> easement by the City. <br /> 2,0 BACKGROUND <br /> 2.1 Old Dutch Foods, Inc. is requesting the vacation of a 0' sanitary sever easement <br /> across the southern edge of the property directly north of 2375 Terminal Road. Old <br /> Dutch has recentl y acquired this parcel, which was previously occupied by liking <br /> Sprinkler., and intends to combine the parcel with its parcel to the south. Old Dutch <br /> to expand its existing building at 375 Terminal Road to the north <br /> also proposes p . <br /> an <br /> d connect it to the southern portion of the old hiking pd nkler building. once a <br /> ire cannot be constructed over a sanitary per line or easement, Old Dutch <br /> building <br /> is p ro . <br /> proposing to relocate the sanitary sewer and provide the City with a replacement <br /> p � <br /> easement. This would allow the existing easement to be vacated and remove an <br /> obstacle to the expansion plans. The northern portion of the Viking sprinkler <br /> obsta p p <br /> building will be removed in order to accommodate the proposed sanitary sewer <br /> realignment. <br /> 2.2 The sanitary <br /> sever within this easement provides service to the existing building on <br /> the property as well as to the property to the east (MILSOLV Minnesota <br /> Corporation).
