EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br /> Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 29th day of July 2002, at 6:30 p.m. <br /> The following members were present: <br /> and the following were absent: <br /> Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its <br /> adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING A VARIANCE TO SECTION 1004.01A6 (MAXIMUM <br /> TOTAL SURFACE AREA) OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR PROPERTY <br /> LOCATED AT 2465 CHURCHILL STREET (PF 3408). <br /> WHEREAS, John & Julie Huppertz have requested a variance to Section 1004.01A6 <br /> (Maximum Total Surface Area) of the Roseville City Code to allow certain home improvements; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, John & Julie Huppertz property is located at 2465 Churchill Street and <br /> legally described at as: <br /> Lot 4, Block 8, C. W. Michael Fourth Addition (PID #112923230021). <br /> WHEREAS, Section 1004.01A6 limits each residential lot in Roseville to a maximum <br /> impervious coverage of 30%; and <br /> WHEREAS, John & Julie Huppertz parcel is currently occupied by 30% impervious area <br /> (structures and pavement surfaces); and <br /> WHEREAS, John & Julie Huppertz desire to construct certain home improvements <br /> including an attached two stall garage, mud room, bathroom, family room, front porch, <br /> additional kitchen area, and in-ground pool to their home; and <br /> WHEREAS, said new improvements exceed the maximum total surface area allowed by <br /> Section 1004-01A6 by 1,170 square feet or 10%; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held a public hearing regarding the <br /> variance request by John & Julie Huppertz and recommended (6-O) to approve the request, based <br /> on findings outlined in Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of the project report dated July 10, <br /> 2002. <br />
