Over the past year, we have made a point <br /> to eriodicall discuss transportation issues with the council in an effort to keep abreast of new <br /> transportation opportunities. <br /> Randy Risvold a representative of the M TO, will present an update on the Roseville Area <br /> Circulator at the March 1 , 1998 City Council Worksession. The Circulator is a system of five <br /> bus routes serving northeast metro communities. A copy of the Roseville Area Circulator Rider <br /> Guide is attached. <br /> e December Worksessl the Council reviewed a number of recent transportation initiatives <br /> At� �in the metro area. copy of the staff report from that meeting is attached. In addition, a number <br /> of articles from the Pioneer Press and Star Tribune regarding transit and transit funding are <br /> enclosed. Finally, a ma p of potential transit initiatives in and near Roseville is attached. The <br /> backside of the ma p contains a number of graphs that clearly show the potential for transit in <br /> Roseville (the Northwest Corridor). <br /> Phase <br /> schedule time on the March 16, 1998 City Council Workscssion to review the Roseville <br /> Circulator and to continue our ongoing discussion of transit in Roseville. <br />
