The City of Roseville participates in the Metropolitan Council affordable and <br /> life cycle housing initiative on an annual basis. Roseville currently meets and <br /> exceeds the requirements for affordable and fife cycle housm' g and offers many <br /> programs to provide a balanced and diverse housing stock. <br /> The City of Roseville would like to be able to consider using the NIHFA MCPP <br /> dollars for new construction for first time homebuyers, In 1996, the City of <br /> Roseville approved a Housing Replacement Program, under the Roseville <br /> Housing Improvement Program, whereby the City would purchase outdated, <br /> non-code compliant homes, demolish the home and replace with new housing <br /> designed for families. We would like to be able to provide the replacement <br /> housing to fast time homebuyers if the buyer meets all the criteria under the <br /> MCPP.
