3. This Contract shall commence January 1, 2003, and be for three successive years, <br /> expiring December 3 1, 2005, subject to Paragraph 5 below. <br /> 4. Compensation shall be$9,500.00 per month for 2003, which includes not only <br /> attorney services, but paralegal, secretarial, and all other overhead of the Firm, except out-of- <br /> pocket expenses, such as filing fees, photocopying, messenger fees, court reporter fees, which <br /> will be billed at cost, and such expenses shall be posted to the monthly retainer fee statement of <br /> the Firm on a cost item basis, and provided that appellate work and civil motor vehicle forfeiture <br /> work will be billed at $160.00 per hour, $85.00 for paralegal. <br /> S Compensation for years 2004 and 2005 shall be subsequently agreed to by the <br /> parties. <br /> 6.
