D. <br /> Rmad <br /> &tions <br /> City Aty Conbut <br /> CONTRACT FOR LEGAL SERVICES <br /> This agreement is entered into by and between The City of Roseville (hereinafter <br /> "City"), 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, MN 55113 and the law firm of Ratwik, <br /> Roszak, & Maloney, P.A. (hereinafter "Law Firm"), 300 U.S. Trust Building, 730 Second <br /> Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55402 for the purpose of utilizing the Law Firm to <br /> provide legal services to the City. <br /> RECITALS <br /> 1. By Request for Proposal dated May 3 1, 2002 (the "RFP"), the City solicited <br /> proposals for civil legal services. <br /> 2. On June 2 1, 2002, the Law Firm submitted a proposal for civil City <br /> Attorney legal services on a retainer basis. <br /> 3. The yearly retainers identified in the June 2 1, 2002 Proposal submitted by <br /> the Law Firm are as follows: <br /> Year One (November 1, 2002 — October 3 1, 2003) $102,000 <br /> Year Two (November 1, 2003 — October 3 1, 2004) $105,600 <br /> Year Three (November 1, 2004 — October 3 1, 2005) $108,211 <br /> NOW THEREFORE, IN CONSIDERATION OF the mutual promises <br /> contained herein and other good and sufficient consideration the parties agree to the <br /> following: <br /> TERMS <br /> 1.1 Scope and Nature of Retainer Services: The parties agree to the <br /> following description of the nature of the legal services to be provided by the Law Firm <br /> to the City: <br /> a.) Attendance at regular or special City Council, City <br /> Board and Commission (other than Planning <br /> Commission) meetings (not to collectively exceed four <br /> per month). <br /> b.) Review of Council and Planning Commission agenda <br /> items and minutes (not to exceed four meetings per <br /> month). <br /> c.) Weekly meeting with City Manager and Department Heads. <br />
