REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION Date : 02/09/98 <br /> Item No . : c_1 <br /> Department Approval w Manager Reviewed Agenda Section <br /> r4 0 Consent Agenda <br /> Item Description: Premises Permit Renewal <br /> The North Suburban Youth Association has applied for renewal of <br /> their premises permit to conduct iawf ul gambling activities at the <br /> Knights of Columbus Bingo Hall located at 2555 Smelling Avenue . <br /> This renewal is for a two year period and has been approved by the <br /> council in prior years <br /> Recemmendat i on <br /> Staff has reviewed this application and is recommending approval in <br /> accordance with the higher carryover amount glue in the scholarship <br /> program. Staff would further recommend that a report be submitted <br /> by the NSYA for 1996 and 1997 detailing the scholarship programs <br /> sources and uses . <br /> COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br /> Motion approving the North Suburban Youth Association ' s request for <br /> renewal of their premises permit to conduct lawful garbling <br /> activities at 2555 Snelling Avenue . <br />
