EXTRACT of MINUTES of MEETING of THE <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY of RO E ILLE <br /> RAMsEli COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> 511 guy # � yir � ye k r k k yk <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br /> of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 9th day of February, <br /> 1998, at :30 p.m. <br /> The following members were present: <br /> and the following members were absent: <br /> Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION No, <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION of A <br /> PURCHASE AGREEMENT FOR THE ACQUISITION of 2100 WILLIAM STREET As <br /> PART of THE HOUSING REPLACEMENT PROGRAM WITHIN THE CITY of <br /> ROSEVILLE HOUSING IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Roseville adopted a housing replacement program within the <br /> Roseville Housing Improvement Program which includes the acquisition of undersized, <br /> outdated, or non-code compliant properties that could not be economically rehabilitated or <br /> sold on the open market, and <br /> WHEREAS, the purpose of the program is to replace deteriorating lower value <br /> housing on scattered sites throughout the City with larger, higher value housing designed <br /> for families, and <br /> WHEREAS, the goal of the program is to increase the property value of the home <br /> and improve the value and aesthetics of the neighborhood properties, and <br /> WHEREAS, the parcel [Parcel # 13-29-23-11-0026] located at 2100 William Street <br /> is in poor to fair condition, outdated and undersized with a 1,1 20 square foot home on a <br /> non-buildable parcel of 4,979 square feet (40'x125'), and <br /> WHEREAS, the owner of the parcel, Maureen Moore, is voluntarily willing to sell the <br /> home, which is vacant, to the City of Roseville for $39,000, and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Roseville City Council, <br /> acting within its authorization as the Housing and Redevelopment Authority for the City of <br /> Roseville, does hereby approve and authorize the execution of a purchase agreement by <br /> the City Manager for the acquisition of 2100 William Street [Parcel I.D. ## 13-219-23-11- <br /> 00 6] from Maureen Moore for 9,000; and <br /> Resolution - Page 1 of <br />
