Roseville Housing Fund would be used for the <br /> purchase and administrative fees associated with the purchase, if approved. <br /> 2,0 Background <br /> 2.1 The <br /> housing replacement program was established in 1996 to help the City <br /> p <br /> purchase outdated or non-code compliant structures that could not be economically <br /> rehabilitated or sold on the open market. The purpose of the program is to replace <br /> deteriorating erioratin lower value housing on scattered sites throughout the City with larger, <br /> i her value housing designed for families. The goal of the program is to increase <br /> h � � <br /> the property value of the home and improve the value and aesthetics of the <br /> neighborhood properties. <br /> An appraisal eras conducted in November 1997 by Dah len & Dwyer, Inc. which set <br /> the value of the home and land at $39,000. <br /> 2.3 The <br /> Council directed staff to begin the negotiation for the purchase of 2100 William <br /> street at the January 23, 1998 Council meeting. <br /> 3,0 2100 William Street ProoeMt Facts <br /> 3.1 The <br /> home at 2100 William Street is a 1.5 story detached frame, single family <br /> dwelling elfin with a detached frame shed located on a 40' x 1 5! site (map attached), <br /> The p rop �e is located in R-2 zoning near the corner of VVilliann and Burke Street. <br /> �Ada'oinin properties include single family homes and vacant land. <br /> p <br /> The home was built in 1947 with the second floor improvements made in 1964. <br /> The square footage of the home is 1120.
