Recognitions,Donations, Communications <br /> a. Proclamation of Hispanic Heritage Month <br /> Mayor Roe read a proclamation and recognized September 15 as the anniversary <br /> of independence for five (5) Latin American Countries; and designation in 1988 <br /> by the United States Congress of September 15 —October 15 annually as National <br /> Hispanic Heritage Month. Mayor Road honored contributions of Hispanic Amer- <br /> icans and their cultural heritage in the Roseville community. <br /> McGehee moved, Johnson seconded, recognition of September 15 — October 15, <br /> 2011 as Hispanic Heritage Month; and invited all members of the community to <br /> celebrate that Hispanic heritage and their contributions to Roseville. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus; Pust; McGehee; Johnson; and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> 6. Approve Minutes <br /> a. Approve Minutes of August 22,2011 Meeting <br /> Comments and corrections to draft minutes had been submitted by the City Coun- <br /> cil prior to tonight's meeting and those revisions were incorporated into the draft <br /> presented in the Council packet. <br /> Pust moved, Johnson seconded, approval of the minutes of the August 22, 2011 <br /> meeting as submitted. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus; Pust; McGehee; Johnson; and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> 7. Approve Consent Agenda <br /> There were no additional changes to the Consent Agenda than those previously noted. At <br /> the request of Mayor Roe, City Manager Bill Malinen briefly reviewed those items being <br /> considered under the Consent Agenda. <br /> a. Approve Payments <br /> Willmus moved, Johnson seconded, approval of the following claims and pay- <br /> ments as presented. <br />
