EXTRACT of MINUTES OF MEETING of THE <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY of ROSEVILLE <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City council of the City <br /> of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 12th day of January, <br /> 1998, at 630 p.m. <br /> The following members were present; <br /> and the following members were absent: <br /> Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION No. <br /> RESOLUTION GRANTING A SETBACK VARIANCE AT <br /> 2416 LEXINGTON AVENUE NORTH <br /> WHEREAS, Section 1004.03(D) of the Roseville City Code requires an attached <br /> garage to be set back a minimum of 20 feet from the rear property lime and 10 feet from <br /> the side property line; and <br /> WHEREAS, Frederick Chute has requested a variance to reduce the setback of an <br /> attached garage to three feet from the rear property line and four feet from the side <br /> property line at 2416 Lexington Avenue North; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on the <br /> request on Wednesday, December 10, 1997, and recommended approval of the requested <br /> variance; and <br /> WHEREAS,, the Roseville City Council received the Planning Commission's <br /> recommendation on Monday, January 12, 1998; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council made the following findings: <br /> Section 1004-03(D)(4) of the city Code requires a side yard setback of 10 <br /> feet and a rear yard setback of 30 feet for an interior lot in an R-2 zoning <br /> district. The existing house is setback 22 feet from the rear property line, <br /> 5.5 feet from the north side lot line and 32 feet from the south side lot line. <br /> 2. The to o ra hey of the parcel limits options for relocating the driveway to the <br /> p � p <br /> south side of the parcel and creates a practical difficulty for the applicant. <br /> 3.
