C:I�gRcz�- <br /> V awl <br /> Itern Description: Approval of Agreement with Ramsey County for the Waterworks/Cemetery <br /> Property <br /> FA > oUNI2 <br /> Ramsey Count y reernent with the City of Roseville whereby agreed to enter into an a <br /> In 1�� � � � <br /> Ramsey County would contribute $250,000 to assist in the purchase of land from the St. Pau <br /> Water Utility for park purposes. The following is a summary of the conditions for the Counties <br /> participation(the specifics are in the attached agreement): <br /> 1. The County will pay their contribution in 3 annual installments of$83,333. <br /> 2. Upon receipt of the final insWIment, the City will give the County a quitclaim deed <br /> representing an undivided one quarter interest in the entire waterworks <br /> Property. <br /> 3. The City and County will jointly plan the future development of bath the <br /> Waterworks Property and the Integrated Corridor with the intent of developing the <br /> properties as a functioning cohesive unit with equal access to all residents of <br /> Ramsey County with common rules and regulations for public use* <br /> 4. The County, in accordance with the Master Plan, authorizes the City access to <br /> County land within the Integrated Corridor for development, operation and <br /> maintenance of recreation improvements (e.g. trails) provided the City accepts full <br /> costs of these activities and indemnifies the County in accordance with the terns <br /> of this Agreement. <br /> 5. The City shall be fully responsible for the entire costs, development, operation and <br /> maintemnce of the waterworks Property. Any revenues or income generated from <br /> the waterworks Property shali be used for the acquisition, development and <br /> maintenance of the property. <br /> 6� The City shall hold the County harmless for any claims relating to the waterworks <br /> Property and require all contractors working on the property to name the County <br /> as additional insured. <br /> 7. The Integrated Corridor shall be mutually named by both parties. <br /> $' The city shall not assess the County for any improvements, development or <br /> maintenance concerning any land in the Integrated Corridor. The City shall not <br /> assess the County for any other County park land within the City unless the <br /> improvements or other action causes a substantial benefit to the land in accordance <br /> with the County's blaster Plan governing such land. The City also agrees to <br /> rescind the assessment of$15,466 relating to the property PIN 13-29-23-34-0003 <br /> Ramsey County open Space near Wagner street, <br />
