<br />consider the proposed assessment on August 26, 1985, at the City <br />Hall, 2660 Civic Center Drive, in the City of Roseville at 7:30 <br />o'clock p.m. The notice shall state the date, time and place of <br />the meeting, the general nature of said improvement, the area <br /> <br />proposed to be assessed, the total cost of the improvement, that <br />the proposed assessment roll is on file with the Manager, and that <br />written or oral objections thereto by any property owner will be <br />considered. It shall be published in the official newspaper of <br /> <br />the City at least once, and shall be mailed to the owner of each <br /> <br />parcel described in the assessment roll, not less than two weeks <br /> <br />prior to the date of said meeting. For the purpose of such mailed <br />notice, owners of said parcels shall be those shown as such on the <br />records of the County Treasurer. Every property owner whose names <br /> <br />does not appear on such records (other than owners of property <br /> <br />which is tax exempt or is taxed on a gross earning basis) shall be <br /> <br />deemed to have waived such mailed notice unless he has requested <br /> <br />in writing that the County Treasurer include his name on the <br />records for this purpose. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was <br /> <br />duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> <br />Kehr <br /> <br />and upon vote <br /> <br />being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: <br /> <br />All present. <br />and the following voted against: <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
