Welsch, Community Development Director <br /> RE: LAVA LINKS PLAN MODIFICATIONS <br /> After the Lava Links Proposal was reviewed and denied by the City <br /> Council in September and October, the applicant, Peter Nasvik, <br /> called Mike Falk to inform him that he may change the plans for the <br /> layout of the operation. In this proposal he would reduce the amount <br /> of floor area by 2,400 s.f. (turning back the old handball court area to <br /> Welsh Properties for other tenants). In addition, he would work with <br /> Welsh Properties to lease 1,700 s.f, on the west side of the existing <br /> Lava Links space for the addition of video and other <br /> entertainment/games of skill. <br /> Mr. Nasvik talked with the Police Chief and has had him on the site <br /> to review the proposed renovation. Planning. staff is unclear as to <br /> the number of additional games thatwould be placed in the new area. <br /> The Council may wish to provided further direction on this issue. <br /> The staff has no further information on this issue. <br />
