EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA -- HELD * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall in said City on The following members were present: Franke, Curley, Johnson, Kehr and Demos and the following members were absent: None Member Curley moved its adoption: introduced the following Resolution ad RESOLUTION NO. 7778 A RESOLUTION DETERMINING TO ACQUIRE BY CONDEMNATION UNDER THE POWERS OF EMINENT DOMAIN PERMANENT AND TEMPORAR Y EASEMENTS AND CERTAIN LAND IN FEE SIMPLE FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTING, MAINTAINING, AND OPERATING A PUBLIC ROAD A~D BRIDGE FOR THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, AND THAT THE NECESSAR Y PROCEEDINGS BE COMPLETED FOR SAID PURPOSE, AS A PART OF IMPROVEMENT M-84-16. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Roseville has been advised by competent advisers and committees that it is feasible to construct, operate and maintain a public road and bridge; and WHEREAS, the City Council deems it necessary and expedient and in the best interest of the City to acquire permanent and temporary easements above, across, and under certain land and to acquire certain land in fee simple for the above purposes; and WHEREAS, under the statutes of the State of Minnesota, the City has the power to take and acquire said property by condemnation under the power of eminent domain. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS: The City Council of the City of Roseville hereby deems it necessary and expedient that the City acquire permanent and temporary easements above, across, and under certain land and to acquire certain land in fee simple as described in the attached Petition in Condemnation.
