vw M City Council September 711, 1993 Comprehensive Plan for major recreational facility (ies) --recreational facilities which have been discussed include a second indoor hockey and figure skating facility, a gymnastics center, indoor pools, racquet ball courts, Cultural Arts Center, indoor theater, community meeting rooms, Senior Center, indoor tennis, and others* Location options include: A centralized facility with possible locations of the Civic center site, Lexington and B site, a city owned or a joint public/private facility in the Twin Lakes area, or a public/private j o int venture in one of the malls. A decentralized facility is also a possibility for the many recreational components that the City may desire. 1994 Budget and long-term financial strategy. Comprehensive Plan update---an aggressive schedule will allow the City to address many of the update issues by the first quarter of 1994, numerous policy issues will, of course, be addressed in the process.
