<br />2. The City Manager shall prepare and cause to be inserted <br />in the Roseville Review, the official paper, and in the <br />Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon the making <br />of such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement for <br />Consolidated Improvements of 1985, Projects ST-P-85-8 and P-85-10 <br />shall be published as required by law, shall specify the work to <br />be done, shall call for bids on the basis of cash payment for such <br />work, shall state that the bids will be received by the City <br />Manager and Public Works Director until 9;00 o'clock a.fi. on <br />September 6, 1985, at which time they will be publicly opened in <br />the City Hall by the City Manager and City Public Works Director, <br />will then be tabulated, and will subsequently be considered by the <br />Council; and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and <br />filed with the Manager and accompanied by a cash deposit, <br />certified check or bid bond payable to the Manager for ten percent <br />of the amount of such bid. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was <br />duly seconded by Councilmember Curley and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: All present; and <br />the following voted against the same: None; whereupon said <br /> <br />resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
