<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in <br />the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, on Monday, the <br />twelfth day of August, 1985, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Kehr, Curley, Johnson, Demos. <br /> <br />and the following were absent: Franke <br /> <br />Member Kehr introduced the fOllowing resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 7785 <br /> <br />SPEED LIMITS ON TERMINAL ROAD FROM WALNUT STREET TO LONG LAKE ROAD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, certain roadways within the City of Roseville are on the municipal <br />street system; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 169.14 of the state statutes allow the municipality to set the <br />limit on such roadways; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, traffic studies have been conducted which indicate that the current <br />30 m.p.h. speed limit should be raised to 40 m.p.h.; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, property owners in the area have requested said increase and speed <br />11mi t ; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That a resolution is hereby adopted <br />establishing Terminal Road from Walnut Street to Long Lake Road as an urban <br />district roadway in the City of Roseville and setting the speed limit on said <br />roadway at 40 m.p.h. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Member Curley and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted <br />in favor thereof: Kehr, Curley, Johnson and Demos. <br /> <br />and the following voted against same: None. <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
