The City
is very excited about this project and would like to ensure its
success; however, as the attached schedule demonstrates, timing
of each of the major project phases is critical.
The Roseville City Council and staff are very concerned that
potential short -term delays in the schedule may jeopardize this
p
rod pct funding e1 igihi 1 its s with e substantial investment of
Roseville financing pup front "t we w ould like assurances that
minor scheduling shifts Will not affect the federal funds
designated for the pro ecte
Our understanding of the current guidelines for "significant
progress" on this project suggests that the City of Roseville -
must have advanced the project to a bid letting date before the
and of the 1993 calendar year. Is this correct? We have
discussed with Carl Ohre the Question "If the City should need an
additional 60 -90 days for bid letting in 1994, can this be
'granted? What does the City need to do to demonstrate
"significant progress" and ensure loss of eligibility ?"
