Page <br />City Council <br />April 24, 1993 <br />Clearly, there are other significant policy issues, but these are <br />some of the concerns that were highlighted by the vista 2000 <br />study group staff. <br />Another significant issue for council consideration i' the number <br />of ongoing committees recommended by the Vista 2000 process. <br />These committees provide the opportunity for additional public <br />participation. However, they tend to be in very specialized <br />areas of concern and also represent an additional staff <br />commitment. Some of the committees mentioned include: a <br />volunteer support committee, recreation f6cus groups to identify <br />pan -met needs, Vista 2000 advisory committee , ' axed- a pipeline <br />safety advisory committee. <br />Icy hope is to discuss some of these policy issues and possible <br />committee formations with the council at our team building <br />session and at future work sessions. <br />
