F INANCIAL ' IMPLI CATI ONS The average loss for diseased tree removal is about 125 trees which would amount to approximately $23,OOOeOO if- the proposed contract is approved. The City has budgeted $25,000*00.for diseased tree removal.. STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS Based on the quotations received, their .performance history of - suc- cessfully completing several municipal and county contracts, and the recommendation of the forester, staff recommends the City enter into a contact with Ceres Tree service for diseased tree removal. COUNCIL ACTIOUREOUESTED Motion authorizing Mayor and City Manager to eater into an agreement With Ceres Tree Service for the removal -of diseased trees and stumps at $9,29/dioameter inch and per advertised specifications with the, expenditures for the contract -to be taken from the diseased tree account of the 1993 budget.
