Agenda Section: <br />Consent Agenda <br />Item Description: Luke Owasso Safe ,Boating AssOCiation request for <br />water -ski Course and water ski jump on Lake Owasso, <br />Background <br />The Lake Owasso Safe Boating As iat i n has, for a number of years , <br />received approval from the City of Roseville for a wa►teri ski course and <br />jump on Lake Owasso. In the initial years, the residents. closest to the <br />proposed location of the course and jump were advised that the Council <br />would he Considering the request. <br />In regent years, the Council has approved the request without notifying <br />res 'dents, In 1988, the Council did instruct staff to-notify the affected <br />residents. This notification did not result in any significant objections <br />-to the water ski course and jump. <br />Recommendation <br />It is recommended the Lake Owasso Boating Association request he approved. <br />COUNCIL ADT I DN REQUESTED: <br />lotion adopting a resolution approving /denying Lake Owasso Safe Boating <br />Association's request for approval of waterski course and water -ski lump <br />on Lake Cwassg for 1993+ <br />
