<br />The oath of Office etas given by Mayor Vern Johnson to John OATH OF
<br />Goedeke, newly appointed Council Member, to serve from OFFICE
<br />January 11 through December 31, 1993, filling the unexpired
<br />term of Brenda Thomas.
<br />The City Council met on the above date with the following ROLL CALL
<br />members present** Cushman, P. Johnson, Goedeke, Maschka, and
<br />Vi Johnson. Members absent: None.

<br />Gretchen Blank, a representative of the Minnesota Recreation NAYNARD
<br />and Park Association Awards Committee` from the City of Rich XELSEY
<br />field, made an award presentation to Maynard Kelsey, who has
<br />served on the Roseville Parks and Recreation Commission for
<br />over twelve years and was chosen as Commissioner of the Year
<br />by the Minnesota recreation and Park Associations
<br />A Certificate of Achievement was received by the City of CERTIFICATE OF
<br />Roseville from the Secretary of State's office recognizing ACHIEVEMENT
<br />Roseville's voter turnout which exceeded 70 percent at the
<br />State General Election' held on November 3, 19929
<br />Mr. David Heahrs spoke to the Council about his concerns of DAVID BEARRS
<br />crime in Roseville
<br />Be CONSENT AGENDA
<br />Maschka moved, P. Johnson seconded, that the Consent CONSENT
<br />Agenda, Items N -1 through B -4, be approved. Roll AGENDA

<br />N -1 Maschka moved, P. 07ohnson seconded, that Dorothy DOROTHY
<br />Peterson's request for minor variance at 1455 W. Burke PETERSON
<br />Avenue, to construct a 15 x 16 foot family room addi
<br />tion onto the rear of the existing house, be approved.

<br />N�2 Maschka moved, P. Johnson seconded, that the attached CONTRACTOR
<br />list of 1993 contractors' Licenses be approved. Roll LICENSES
