For the first time we have had the benefit of a <br />professional forester. The City of New Brighton has agreed to enter <br />into an agreement for continuation of the 1992 contracts <br />POLICY OBJECTIVE <br />The requested action is consistent with our ongoing attempts to provide <br />cost effective service through intergovernmental cooperation. <br />FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS <br />Monies have been budgeted in the 1993 budget for these serv1ces6 <br />STAFF JOCO rMENDATIQXS. <br />Staff reco� mends that the City enter into contractual agreement with <br />the City o2. New Brighton to provide tree inspection, disease control <br />and forestry services for the amount $14,796o <br />COUNCIL ACTION RE ESTED <br />Motion authorizing the city manager to enter into an agreement with the <br />City of New Brighton for tree inspection /disease control services per <br />the attached agreement, with the monies to be taken from the 1993 api <br />proved budget for forestry services <br />
