EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of R Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 1 5th day of December, 2003, at 630 p.m. The following members were present: and the following were absent: Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. A RE50LUTIQN APPROVING A VARIANCE TO SECTION 1016.16B1 OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR JIM BADZINSKI 3$5 SOUTH OWASSO BOULEVARD (PF3540),, VHEREA , Jim Badzinski has requested a VARIANCE to Section 1016.16B I of the Roseville City Code to allow the construction of an attached deck on the lakeshore side of the principal structure he ovens; and WHEREAS, the Badzinski parcel is located at 381 South Owasso Boulevard, and legally described as: Lot ]]Lake Owasso Villa PIN; 01-29-23-21-0002 VIEREA , 101 6.16B I (Structure Design Standards - Bluff Impact Zones) reads: "Structures and accessory facilities, except stairways and landing, shall not be placed within bluff impact zones; and WHEREAS, the deck proposed by Mr. Badzinski would be located within the bluff impact zone (12 feet from the top of the bluff and 18 feet within the bluff' impact zone); and WHEREAS, The Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the Badzinski request on December 3, 2003, recommending (6-1) approval of a VARIANCE to Section 101 6.16B I of the Roseville City Code, based on the findings of Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of the project report dated December 3, 2003; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to APPROVE a VARIANCE to Section 1016.16E I of the Roseville City Code for Jinn Badzinske, 3 81 South Owasso Boulevard,, subject to the following conditions; a. The deck being a maximum size of 12 feet by 12 feet.
