T =11 <br />MGM has applied for an Off- -Sale Intoxicating Liquor License at 1740 Lexington Ave. The City <br />currently has 8 Off -Sale Intoxicating liquor licenses issued. The maximum number of Off-Sale <br />liquor licenses allowed is 10. <br />Financial Implications <br />The revenue that is generated from the license fees collccted is used to offset the cost of police <br />compliance checks, background investigations: enforccrnent of liquor lags, and license <br />administration. <br />Recommendations <br />It is recommended that the license he approved for the period December 9, 2003 thru December 31 <br />2004 <br />Council Action <br />Notion approving/denying the Off -Sale Intoxicating liquor license for MGM located at 1 740 <br />Lexington Ave for the year ending December 31, 2084. <br />
