Appoint rot : The Councll shall appoint an ellglble <br />person to fill a vacancy on the Clty Council as soon as <br />soon as is practicable after the vacancy occurs. The person <br />appointed shall serve for the unexpired portlon of the term <br />unless a special election is required hereunder or by state <br />lair . <br />B, Special Election: A ecial election shall he held to <br />fill a vacancy on the City Council created when a council <br />mer is elected an lnccmpat le office, <br />if more than sip months remain in the unexpired terra <br />and the vacancy occurs more than six 6 months before the <br />neat regular city election.
