Regular City Council Minutes — 10/13/03 <br />DRAFT Minutes - Page 14 <br />condition of the vehicles was not portrayed adequately. <br />Councilmember Schroeder opined that the vehicles should <br />be replaced. <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn continued opining on the inadequacies <br />presented or misrepresented by staff in their September 15, <br />2003 report, referencing further internal Fire Department <br />correspondence. <br />Klausing moved, Schroeder seconded, to direct staff to <br />prepare an advertisement for bids for one (1) replacement <br />fire vehicle; and seek resale potential for Engine 31 and <br />Engine 32 respectively. <br />Further discussion ensued related to the bidding process, <br />resale value of Engines 31 and 32, limited number of <br />qualified bidders, and delivery of the replacement vehicle. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Maschka, Klausing, Kough, Schroeder, and <br />Kysylyczyn. <br />Nays: None. <br />D.
