EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 20'' day of October, 2003, at 6:30 <br />p.m. <br />The following members were present: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDED CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT IN <br />ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 1004.01A.4 OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR <br />WALLY MCCARTHY AUTO GROUP, 2325 PRIOR AVENUE (PF3523). <br />WHEREAS, Wally McCarthy Auto Group has requested an amendment to a previously <br />approved Special Use Permit (now referred to as a Conditional Use Permit) in accordance with <br />Section 1013.01 of the Roseville City Code to allow the replacement of the roofed, open air <br />vehicle sales area with a Hummer dealership building; approval of a service department addition; <br />and approval of a Hummer test track; and <br />WHEREAS, the property in question is the Wally McCarthy Cadillac /Hummer site at <br />2325 Prior Avenue, legally described as: <br />NEEDS CORRECT LEGAL <br />PIN. 09- 29 -23 -32 -0008, 09- 29 -23 -32 -0006, 09- 29 -23 -32 -0009 <br />WHEREAS; the proposal by Wally McCarthy Cadillac/Hummer seeks to construct a <br />10,043 sq. ft. Hummer dealership where the existing roof, open are sales area lies; construct a <br />4,800 sq. ft. service department addition to the rear of the structure; and install a short test track <br />along the north property line; and <br />WHEREAS, the property has received the following approvals by the City of Roseville: <br />October 2, 1972, Long Cadillac received approval for rezoning from B 1 B to B3; a <br />Special Use Permit; and a parking variance for a new car and used car dealership <br />at 2325 Prior Avenue. <br />June 10, 1974, received approval for a variance pertaining to the number of pylon <br />signs (from one to two) on the premises. <br />December 13, 1976, received approval to subdivide certain property contiguous to <br />2325 Prior Avenue. <br />
