The abatement to be discussed is the last remaining item requiring correction, this year, fr pm the original list of City Code violations; the protecting of a drainage send that. is rely to cause erosion onto adjoining property at 2000 Cleveland Ave. i1 r� E essa, q . are encoyr g a to attend this meeting and you will be given the opportunity to speak, if you choose to do so. it Council y y i-neetings begin at 6:00 P.M. At this meeting the Community Development Department will be requesting authority from City Council to complete the following work: covering the northerly portion of the drainage swale mound (or possibly constructing a short retaining wall in this area) and removing any remaining portion of the mound that is still on the adjoining property. Charges incurred for this work would then be charged against the property (1 992 Cleveland Ave.) for irr mediate payment, or (if not paid), for assigning to property taxes (per City Code Section 407.06 & 07 — copy enclosed). Mr. Eggess a, since this meeting will not occur for almost two weeps, f encourage you to complete the work yourselves before this date. I do realize you have made significant progress correcting the original list of violations and your property is looking very good, however, this remaining item adversely affects an adjoining property and roust be completed yet this gear.
