Message
- - - -- Original Message --
From: Mayor John Kysyly yn [rnailto :johnk usfamily.net]
Seat: Saturday, September 13{ 2003 8:29 AM
To: 'mar y -shields'
Cc: city.council ci.rosev 1le.mn.us
Subject: ICE: Recycling
Page i of
Mary,
If you believe something that is sent to you in are anonymous brochure, l have some swamp land in Florida
that I could sell you for a really good price.
What you have is a political attack brochure that appears to have been funded by a business. So far, I
estimate that $3000-$5000 has been spent by these people, It is hardly the sum of money that some sort of
neighborhood do-gooder would spend.
Nothing in the brochure is true. 100% of it is lies.
As far as the friends you discussed this issue with... I have Florida swampland to sell them also.
Mayor John Kysylyczyn
8083 Victoria Street
Roseville, MN 55113
jhnc i
r ly.nt
Home Office: 851- 484 -1 384
Cell: 651- 898 -5387
- - - -- Original Messy
From; mar .shield
Sent: Saturday, September 13, 2003 7:118 AM
To: city. cou ncil@cl.roseville.mn. us
Subject: Recycling
Dear Council Members,
I have been made aware that a different system of recycling is being considcied for use in Roseville called single
sort. As I understand it} this new system would cause a much larger portion (30 %) of the materials to be thrown out
versus about 5% with the present two sort system. Secros to me that if two advisory groups and the cities of
Minneapolis and 8t. Paul have rgjectcd it, and other cities who use it need to throw out as much as 20 to 30% of the
recycled material, the new system should not be adopted. I have discussed this situation with several friends and
neighbors in Roseville who agree, and so I urge you to gate against the single sort system.
Yours truly,
Mary Shields
9/15/2003
