3. Recvclinq-Containers: The City will make recycling containers available for community residents. Recycling containers shall not be a prerequisite to participa tion in the curbside recycling program. Other container types such as kraft grocery bags, boxes, and bins are acceptable to the extent that route drivers readily recognize recyclables. In areas with the single-stream recycling pilot program, Contractor agrees, at its expense, to purchase, deliver, service and repair, and maintain sufficient cart inventory to meet supply and demand needs for the program. 4. Certified Dwelling Unit (CDU)-. means a single family home and each residential unit in a duplex, triplex, fourp[ex, or townhouse complex, as well as multiple unit dwellings, all as specified in Proposal t in the City's RFP. 5. Holiday means any of the following: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Darr, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. 6. Scheduled Collection ; means the day or days of the week on which recycling collection by the Contractor is to occur, as specified In Proposal I in the City's RFP. T. RFP.
