Regular C i t Council Minutes — 911 5103 <br />DRAFT Minutes - Page 8 <br />concerning a Roseville Police Officer and a minor; and <br />subsequent ongoing investigation of a formal complaint <br />filed by Ms. Delmore for alleged officer misconduct; her <br />outrage and opined racial profiling by the officer. <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn confirmed with Police Chief Sletner <br />that the incident is being investigated and expressed the <br />Council's appreciation for her comments. <br />V. Recognitions <br />A. Roseville's Fire Explorer Post: Winners of the Gold Roseville's Fire <br />Medal in the Explorer Challenge for the Third Year in Explorer P <br />a Row! Winners of the <br />Fire Chief Rich Gasaway summarized recent participation Gold Medalin the <br />of five (5) Roseville Fire Explorers in metro -wide 2003 <br />Firefighter Explorer Challenge competition, under the <br />mentorship and advisory direction of Firefighter Andy <br />Chandler. <br />Fire Chief Gasaway read a letter written by a participant <br />that s��mrr,arized the categories of competition and <br />challenges met through this learning experience by the <br />participants. <br />Chief Gasaway recognized the accomplishments of the <br />Post in their first-place placement in this year's <br />competition among Fire Explores Post, at which- time he <br />introduced the Post's Captain and event participant, Jim <br />Chandler. <br />Mr. Chandler outlined the nine (9) competition events, and <br />introduced the other dour (4) participants: Mike Hartman, <br />Joe Euwell, Christy Caroll and Brian Eckerl and displayed <br />the awards received, which had been presented by the Boy <br />Scouts of America. <br />Fire Chief Gasaway advised that the Post had also <br />participated in the Governor's Fire Prevention Day at this <br />year's State Fair. <br />Explorer Challenge <br />-For the Third Years <br />.6 <br />m a Row! <br />
