EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF A MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA HELD: October 10, 2011 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Ramsey County, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall on Monday, the 10th day of October, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. The following Councilmembers were present: McGehee, Willmus, Johnson, Pust and Roe and the following were absent: none. Councilmember Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: Resolution No. 10940 RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED ADOPTION OF A MODIFIED REDEVELOPMENT PLAN AND INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO. 1 PLAN FOR REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA AND INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO. 1 1. Recitals. (a) The City of Roseville has the powers described in Minnesota Statutes, Section 469.082, including the powers of a housing and redevelopment authority under Minnesota Statutes, Sections 469.001 through 469.047, and the powers of a port authority pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 469.048 through 469.068; and (b) The City established a Redevelopment Project Area and Industrial Development District No. 1 (the "Redevelopment Project Area") and adopted a Redevelopment Project Area and Industrial Development District No. 1 Plan (the "Plan") for the Redevelopment Project Area; all pursuant to and in conformity with applicable law; and. (c) The City proposes to amend the Plan to reflect additional projects and goals within the Project Area. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council (the "Council") of the City of Roseville, Minnesota(the "City"), as follows: 2. Public Hearing. This Council shall meet on Monday, October 24, 2011, at 6:00 p.m., to hold a public hearing on the proposed adoption of a modified Redevelopment Project Area and Industrial Development District No. 1 Plan, in conjunction with the sale of bonds to finance the construction of a new fire station and park improvements,pursuant to and in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Section 469.028, as amended.
