City of Roseville, Minnesota <br />Addendum to Agreement For Recyclin�p Collection <br />Effective September _, 2003 <br />This Addendum dated as of September —} 2003 is made by and between the City <br />of Roseville, a municipal corporation, (`{ City") and waste Management of <br />Minnesota, ( "Contractor"). <br />WHEREAS, the parties entered into that certain Agreement for recycling <br />Collection dated January 1, 2003, expires, December 31, 2005; and <br />WHEREAS, the parties now wish to extend the terra of the Contract pursuant to <br />the terms and conditions specified herein, <br />Now, THEREFORE, the parties agree that effective as of September , 2003, <br />the term of the Recycling Agreement shall be extended for five gears through <br />December 3 1, 2008, subject to the following terms and conditions: <br />Agreement <br />1. Transition: Effective upon delivery of the recycling carts the recycling <br />service shall be switched from the current two (2) sort system to "single sort" <br />(commingled in a single 32, 64, or 96 gallon cart). <br />2. recycling .Earts: Each residential Dwelling Unit ("'RDU") will be required <br />to receive a 64- gallon cart. After (90) days use} this cart may be upgraded to , <br />96 gallon or down graded to 32-gallon cart at the residents request. <br />3. Relive Initial cart delivery of 64- gallon carts to all RDU's shall be made <br />within ninety (90) days of the date of the agreement. The entire cost of the <br />cart, cart delivery, cart repair and replacement shall be the responsibility of the <br />Contractor. <br />4. Promotion and Public Education: The Contractor and the City shall work <br />together in the preparation and distribution of educational materials to insure <br />accurate information and program directions. The Contractor shall submit a <br />draft of any public education literature for approval by the City. <br />
